Interested in the sport of speed skating?
The RBC sponsored, Learn to Speed Skate program, lets you experience the basics of speed skating in a FUN environment. Children ages 6-12 are eligible to receive four hours of instruction from our certified coaches. The $40 fee includes skate rental and insurance.
RBC Learn to Speed Skate Ice Sessions:
Week 1: Tuesday September 5th, and Friday September 8th, 5:00pm – 6:00pm.
Week 2: Tuesday September 12th and Friday September 15th, 5:00pm – 6:00pm
Skate Fitting:
Tuesday, August 29th, 5:30pm - 7:00pm Allandale Recreation Center,Blue Arena.
Registration:
Please click Here to register through Speed Skating Canada. You will be contacted by a Barrie Speed Skating Club volunteer. If you have any questions please contact us. This program is for children ages 6-12. Must be able to skate forward one full lap of the arena and stop.
