Group 1
60 minutes per week / Tuesday 5:00 - 6:00pm
This program is targeted at those new to the sport of speed skating and those interested in maintaining their level of fitness through speed skating. The hour will consist of instruction appropriate to the age of the skater. It may include warm-up, skill progression, laps, relays, games and a cool-down period.
Cost: $600
Group 2
2 x 60 minutes per week / Tuesday and Friday 5:00 - 6:00pm
This program is targeted for younger competitive skaters and beginners choosing to skate twice a week. The on-ice instruction will consist of warm-up, skill progression, laps, relays, games and a cool-down period appropriate for competition.
Cost: $850
Group 3
1 x 80 minutes per week / Tuesday or Friday 5:30 - 7:00 pm
This program is targeted at the more advanced competitive skater. Those interested in advancing their skill level will participate in the second hour of the club’s once-weekly session.
Note: Placement in this Group is done by coaches’ recommendation. Please speak with a coach prior to registering for this session.
Cost: $650
Group 4
2 x 80 minutes per week / Tuesday and Friday 5:30 - 7:00 pm
This program is targeted at the more advanced competitive skater. Those interested in advancing their skill level will participate in the second hour of the club’s twice-weekly session.
Note: Placement in this Group is done by coaches’ recommendation. Please speak with a coach prior to registering for this session.
Cost: $1000

OSSA & SCC Membership Fees
Club SKater
For a skater who participates in recreational programming and does not compete in sanctioned competitions.

For athletes training out of the province at one of Canada’s National Training Centres. Athletes must register with their Club and pay SSC’s membership fees and a reduced OSSA fee. * Note: This category has been eliminated. Athletes are supported through our Athlete Assistance Program.

This membership allows skaters to participate in a designated Special Olympic category at a designated OSSA meet but is not a member of an OSSA club and does not participate in any regular OSSA club programming.

Please note
OSSA and SSC fees are non-refundable. BSSC ice-time refunds requested before Dec. 31st will be based on the number of sessions used divided by the total available sessions. No refunds will be offered after Dec. 31st.
